Kapowai's Gold by Louise de Varga
Kapowai the dragonfly awakes to a sparkly world and a beautiful rainbow!
What could be at the end of the rainbow? Could it be gold?
Kapowai flies off to find her friends; the little dragonfly doesn’t think she is brave enough to go on this adventure, chasing the end of a rainbow, all on her own. But what will Bella, Lulu, Charlie and the rest think of her crazy plan and just what will Kapowai find at the end of the rainbow where the big trees grow?
Kapowai’s Gold is the second book in a series about the young dragonfly, Kapowai, written by Louise de Varga. The Kapowai stories were originally written for her two sons, Quinn and Toby, and have developed into a series of adventures. Each story seeks to open up the imagination of young readers to the outside world through the exploits of Kapowai. Louise’s passion for books led her to start the NZ Independent Book Festival, which has been held in Auckland for the last three years.
